Matthew 16:24-26

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me. 25If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. 26And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?"

Following Jesus, taking up our cross daily, losing our lives for Jesus and safeguarding our souls are keys to living the ABUNDANT & THRILLING CHRISTIAN LIFE !

There is a difference in the world between existing and living. To exist is simply to have the lungs breathing and the heart beating; to live is to be alive in a world where everything is worth while, where there is peace in the soul, joy in the heart, and a thrill in every moment. That's the life Jesus promises.

Yes, there will be trouble. And more trouble if you are a genuine Christian. But Jesus has overcome the world. He who is inside of us is more powerful than the one who is outside. Remember? So, let's live recklessly (by exercising our FAITH) and with gay abandon for Jesus and His Kingdom.
